Job Posting: Part-time Digital Literacy Coach
The Part-time Digital Literacy Coach works in a small team providing individualized or small-group coaching in basic computer skills. The participants are adult newcomers to Canada with English as an additional language. An initial assessment and easy to follow curriculum resources are provided. Orientation and ongoing support is available from the Lead Coach.
Qualifications:
Excellent laptop and phone digital skills.
Ability to give simple clear instructions.
Experience working with adults who want to become more independent with the use of technology required for everyday tasks and may have limited English.
Ability to communicate in an additional language is an asset.
Some post-secondary education is preferred.
Hours:
Mondays and Thursdays
3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Job sharing may be possible.
Rate of Pay: To be discussed
